Compact 5.8G 1W Power Switchable FPV Video Transmitter with Cooling Fan for RC Racers

The most recent high-power long-range video transmitter released by Panda RC is the VT5804 V3 5.8G 25mW/200mW/400mW/800mW/1000mW Switchable FPV Video Transmitter. It features a built-in cooling fan and a bolted SMA antenna connector, and supports OSD remote tuning with an output power of up to 1000mW.

The VT5804 V3 boasts several key features. Firstly, it offers stable output power and long transmission range, with a range of over 0.5KM at 25mW, 1KM+ at 200mW, 2KM+ at 400mW, 5KM+ at 800mW, and 10KM+ at 1000mW. Secondly, it is switchable between 0mW, 25mW, 200mW, 400mW, 800mW, and 1000mW. Thirdly, the channel, frequency, and output power can be controlled through the OSD configuration. It also features fast frequency lock and a self-checking function for the output power.

In terms of specifications, the VT5804 V3 has an NTSC/PAL video module and an input voltage of 7-28V, with a power consumption of 450mA at 1000mW. The size of the unit is 36365.5MM, with a hole size of 30.5mm x 30.5mm and a weight of unknown.

The output power and frequency settings can be adjusted through the buttons on the VTX. To change the power, users need to long press the button for 6 seconds, with the power indicator LED flashing while the other indicator LEDs are off, and then short press to cycle through the different power settings. To change the channel, users need to short press the button once, and to change the frequency, they need to long press for 3 seconds and then short press.

The OSD interface can also be used to control the VTX. By connecting the VTX (RX) to the free UART (TX) port, users can access the OSD interface and configure the settings.
